Everything about the Internet is complicated. This enables many lies to be told.
First of all, let's examine how Google works.
Google is not your friend. It is a multi-million dollar company — and it is dishonest. The proof of this is Google has been prosecuted many times by the European Union. It has been fined more than EIGHT BILLION EUROS (8,000,000,000) because of the way it rigs advertising and further prosecutions are pending. Google's offices in Paris have been raided by the French tax authorities. More recently Google has been prosecuted by the Indian government and the US Congress is investigating the company's activities.
Many people believe that Google and the Internet are the same and that the services are somehow free of charge. Google exists to make money and designs its procedures to ensure they make as much as possible.
Until now there have been two ways of getting a good listing on Google: 'PAY PER CLICK' advertising or GENERIC CODING.
Their 'Pay-Per-Click' advertising system is expensive and may not get you the results you hope for.
Now there is a better way of paid-for promotion - and it rewards businesses that are established and legitimate. GOOGLE GUARANTEED.
The business has to be verified to use this method, and only a few types of businesses are currently eligible. More details on the next page.
In order for Google to stay in business it has to be recognised as the leading search engine, so it has to produce reasonably accurate results.
Google works by scanning every website on the Internet and copying relevant information. Google's tech people have devised algorithms which are very good at finding information. This means it is possible to 'feed' information to these 'search robots'. By doing so it is possible to get a website a top search listing without expensive advertising. This process is called 'SEO' - you may have heard about it.
As with everything on the Internet, many lies are told about it.

Google reads background code. It does not 'see' images. The Internet is a very visual medium and so Google targets interesting pictures. It does this by reading the code 'tags' that are connected to the images.
The more accurate and interesting information is contained in the background code, the higher Google will rate the website in its search listings. The information must also be unique. This is why websites that are built from templates are of less interest to Google.
Google sells advertising by understanding what the searcher wants and then feeding up advertisements at the top and bottom of each page of genuine results.
People are wise to this, so will ignore the paid-for adverts and scroll down to the genuine results.
